The Burden of Knowledge

My mother always says; fools are always happy, because they don’t know what’s missing from their lives. That is so true. We all acquire knowledge in different forms and throughout our lives, in different degrees. That knowledge both empowers and burdens us. It empowers as it is used to help us navigate the labyrinth that is life itself and burdens us because most of the time we are unable to share such a  knowledge with the rest of those around us. The world as it is now, is a very dark place where knowledge is withheld or is frowned upon ad “snobism”. My life as it is, is lived in silence, shying away from closed minds who would never understand the truth that there is more to reality that what daily lives allow us to see.
